MagdalenaFrac ConferencePulawy, 30-31 June 2017 The SoilCare Polish team from Institute of Agrophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, presented a poster on their work on fungal metabarcoding entitled “Fungal metabarcoding of soil fertilized with chicken manure” at the scientific conference: "Biodiversity of the environment - Significance, problems, challenges" in Pulawy, Poland.  A poster entitled “Fungal metagenomes of soil amended with waste orgnaic matter” was also presented by the team at II Microbiological Symposium "Metagenoms of different environments" 29-30th June 2017. A further poster entitled “Metagenomic analysis of soil fungal community after application of mushrooms culturing leftover” was presented at the 51st National Scientific Conference "Environmental microbiology - an opportunity for safe living and biotechnological progress" 5-8th September 2107.  The team has also been busy raising awareness of the project. They presented the project to students at the agricultural School in Czartajew and also distributed the SoilCare leaflets at the Science Picnic of Polish Radio and the Copernicus Science Centre - THE EARTH, in Warsaw.
